September has been a very busy month for me (even when I wasn't, I spent my time hibernating), so I never had time to post anything on my blog. I actually have more than fifteen pending reviews to write, including a sponsored one. I had some extra time yesterday, so I decided to make a quick photo-session with the things that I got during August. A bit late, but I enjoy writing my haul posts, so here we go!

1. Bioré UV Perfect Protect Milk

The very first thing that I bought in August! Honestly, I used to be lazy in taking proper care of my skin. I focused mostly on moisturising products because my skin is quite dry. But after going through breakouts and all, I decided to actually be more concern about it. I learned that sunscreen or sunblocks are very important to protect your face. I'm still in the process of looking for one that suits me, since my previous one was a bit expensive for a broke student like me.

Bioré UV Perfect Protect Milk had been the cheapest in the drugstore that time, so I decided to give it a try. Despite the price being a lot lower than the previous product I used, I found that I love this one more! The watery texture blends in well and quickly into my skin, leaving a matte finish too (some sunscreens make your face look oily) which is great because I don't prefer to have a shiny face.

2. Cosmoderm: Vitamin E Facial Cleansing Foam & Vitamin E Cream

My skin had a horrible breakout recently, so I decided that I needed to change the facial wash I was using because it was not helping at all despite its claim of working well with sensitive skins. I've had my eyes on Cosmoderm for quite a while. It's a product of Malaysia and certified Halal too, so I wanted to have a try on it. I don't have a say yet in it, because I've only used them in probably around a month. But as of now, I haven't had any breakouts (except for several small ones on my forehead, thanks to stress LOL), which means I'm pretty satisfied with it. I'm hoping the Vitamin E Cream will help lighten my acne scars too.

3. Semi Transparent Cat Tote Bag

Transparent PVC bags are in trend now, and I was so ecstatic when I found this bag. I love transparent bags, but mostly I prefer only a minor part of it being transparent. I'm not really sure I want all my belongings to be shown, since they're a mess.

Anyway, this tote bag has everything that I wanted: pink, transparent, cat design and just being a tote bag! If you read my July Duality Box unboxing, you'll know just how much I love tote bags. I'm also a sucker for anything pink, and of course, it has a cat shape on it! How much cuter can it be?

4. No Face / Kaonashi Mini Fan

Pretty sure I've never mentioned this before, but I'm also a No Face enthusiast 👻 I'm not sure why but it is one of the cutest character that I love (maybe due to the fact that I'm also a horror story enthusiast?). Despite my love for it, this is actually my first No Face related item. When I first found it, I immediately went "aww". If I was in an anime series, my eyes would have become huge hearts 😍 I initially only wanted to buy it for a friend's birthday gift, but since it's too adorable, I couldn't help myself. I had to get one for myself too!

5. Bath & Body Works: "Mermaid Off Duty" Seaweed Body Cream & "Sweet as Strawberries" Cleansing Hand Gel

I have finally achieved my goal of buying something from Bath & Body Works! ✨ They have so many choices and if I was richer, I probably would have splurged many more kinds of products in there. During the time I was there, BBW were promoting their new launched collection, "Sea-Tox" and "Water". It has everything to do with mermaids, seaweeds, ocean and hydration! They were very interesting (oh yes, I'm a bit biased here, no doubt) and I decided to try its body cream first. Well, it was the cheapest product there, so yeah that's basically why. It has this rich ocean-ish smell and I'm absolutely in love with it! Very hydrating too and not sticky at all.

I was also in need of new hand sanitiser. There were a variety of scents to choose from, and I can say that the Strawberry one smells the best. I was aiming for peach, but I didn't quite like the smell.

6. E-Books: Floored, Her Favorite Color was Yellow & Wicked: Witch and Curse

These are the e-books that I bought in August. I was actually only looking for Floored (to be read for Juliet's Library book discussion), but buying a single book feels rather regretful. So I bought three, because why not? I chose to buy Wicked: Witch and Curse because I've been looking for it in ages to no avail. As for Her Favorite Color was Yellow's, I just loved the colour and simplicity of its cover.

7. To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo

I've had my eyes on To Kill A Kingdom ever since it was released; there were a lot of good reviews from bookstagrammers and on Goodreads too. It was pretty much sold out in all the bookstores I went to, I only found it by chance on Carousell for a cheap price. I didn't hesitate to get my hands on it because sirens, mermaids, pirates, royalty? Definitely a must have. It is now one of my most loved books!

8. Unnatural Creatures: Stories Chosen by Neil Gaiman & All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

A huge thanks to @thespinesbookstore on Instagram for sending me these books, in exchange for promoting their Merdeka Sale. If you're looking for new and cheap books, you should definitely check out @thespinesbookstore! They have variety of books and the service is great too 💛

9. The Distance Between Me and the Cherry Tree by Paola Peretti, Snow White: A Graphic Novel by Matt Phelan & Snowglobe by Amy Wilson

August really has been the greatest month for me as a book lover 💛 Many thanks to Pansing for sending me these review copies. I've been busy this month, but reviews on these books will come up real soon!

I'm going to try to post something at least once every two weeks from now on. Hopefully I'll be able to come up with more contents soon. Wish me luck, and I wish all of you a meaningful day!

Till next time ♡ Love, Aishah Humaira'
